Winnie the Pooh was also known as Pooh Bear. His birthday is October 14th 1926. Christopher Robin was named after the original writer's son who was Christopher Robin Milne. Pooh Bear was named after a black bear that once lived at the London Zoo, who's name was Winnie. The name of Winnie the Pooh's forest is Ashdown Forest, in Sussex England.
